Post some impressive stats or streaks from your teams game notes this week.

LSU:

-TCU is the 18th ranked opponent LSU has faced in its last 30 games. No other team in the nation has played as many games vs. ranked teams in that span.

-LSU has won an FBS record 41 consecutive non-conference regular season games dating back to 2002.

-LSU is 19-1 under Les Miles following a loss. LSU has lost back-to-back games just one time under Miles that coming in November of 2008

- LSU has won 85 games over the past eight years to rank No. 2 nationally behind Boise State (93), while TCU is tied for third with 84 wins.

-LSU is second in the nation at 65 consecutive weeks ranked in the AP top 25.

-LSU Is 36-2 In Non-Conference Games Under Les Miles

- This will be Bert's first game in the SEC.

- Historians will look back to this weekend as to when Saban's reign ended and the SEC shifted their focus to basketball like the ACC did before them.

Alabama begins the 2013 season with a 14-game winning streak away from Bryant-Denny Stadium.

Under head coach Nick Saban, the Crimson Tide has held opponents to 10 points or fewer 40 times since the start of the 2007 season and seven times in 2012, with the most recent coming on Nov. 24 against Auburn (49-0). The Tide also shut out four 2012 opponents

Alabama has been dominant in season openers under head coach Nick Saban. The Crimson Tide is a perfect 6-0 under Saban and has won in impressive fashion. Alabama has outscored its opponents, 257- 64, in those games and outgained the opposition, 2996-1124. The Tide has averaged 42.8 points per opening game under Saban and given up just 10.6 points per contest. Alabama has amassed 499.3 total yards per opener and surrendered just 187.3 yards per clip.

Alabama has had more draft picks over the last
four years (29), three years (22) and two years (17) than any school in the country

Alabama begins the 2013 season in a familiar place
atop the Associated Press College Football Poll. It is the sixth straight season for the Crimson
Tide to make an appearance at No. 1. The Tide is just the second team in the era of the AP
poll to appear at No. 1 for five years, much less six. Alabama’s streak began in 2008 and has
seen the Crimson Tide finish first in the final AP in three of the past five years. Miami (Fla.)
holds the record for consecutive seasons with at least one week at No. 1 with seven, appearing
each year from 1986-92.

Dating back to the start of the 2008 season, Alabama has won 61 games, which is the most in the Football Bowl Subdivision for BCS Conference teams.

If you are 33 or younger, you've never been alive to see Rice beat A&M.

USC:

-South Carolina has won 13 straight season openers.

-Spurrier is 22-1 in season openers, his only loss? To South Carolina while he was at Duke in '89.

-The No. 6 ranking for the Gamecocks is the highest preseason A.P. ranking in school history.

-South Carolina has been ranked for 48 consecutive weeks in the AP poll, a school record and good for 5th in the country in active streaks, only behind Alabama and LSU in the SEC.

-USC is 25-3 at home the last 4 years including going undefeated last season.

Since joining the SEC in '92, Arkansas has never lost to LSU with a first-year head coach.

Ford won 42-24 in '93, Nutt won 41-14 in '98 and Petrino won 31-30 in '08.

I was thinking of Crowe being a returning coach in '92, but you're right.

Yea, they were ranked 4th and it was our first trip to Knoxville. Lunney was our QB for that game. I remember it like it was yesterday, because I considered it payback for the tough loss in the Cotton in '90.

Wisconsin had a longer regular season non-conference winning streak in the 1900s. I wonder who declared that a record.
