I understand that opinions vary drastically depending on exactly how the game plays out, but humor me.

What do you anticipate the reaction of Arkansas fans are to Bret Bielema should Arkansas lose this game?

How do you think Auburn fans would react, assuming Auburn loses to Arkansas?

Does either coach move towards the hot seat, or, if you think a coach is already on the hot seat, how hot does his seat get with a loss?

I say Gus has gained a few games from hot seat, due to wins over LSU and MSU.
A loss to Arkansas, coupled with a loss to Ole Miss, he'll be right back on the hot seat.
Bert seems to be hot seat proof.

As long as they win 7 games and a bowl I think they are happy.

Their fans got as close as I've seen them to calling him out after the Alabama game. I got the impression they genuinely were disappointed with where there team was at in year 4.

I agree with your assessment on Malzahn. He's not exactly on the hot seat, but with some tough games ahead of him he's definitely walking on thin ice. And I know Auburn fans, one loss, if he mucks it up with some questionable decisions, and they'll want his head.

oh our fans were pissed, and rightfully so. I'd say we are tentatively back on the bandwagon for the moment as things seem to be trending upwards for the first time since TAMU beat us in 2014.

Reality would be that their beloved Beluga would drop to 1-3 against the coach they hate the most in the league. It would drop the Hogs to 3 conference losses, which would pretty much ensure them finishing behind Auburn in the West standings. And with games still remaining against Florida and LSU, it would mean in all likelihood another year finishing outside the Top 25.

But this would not change how Arkansas fans feel about their coach. He can do no wrong in their eyes. Mediocrity is bliss.

I can't imagine the "Fire Gus" calls would ratchet back up immediately. However, it would make the Ole Miss and Georgia games must-wins for Gus. Auburn needs to get to 8-4 for their fans to be satisfied. They'll likely lose to Bama, so they only have room for one additional loss. They have to win two of these 3 games: Arkansas, Ole Miss, and Georgia. Losing to the Hogs would leave no room for error.

Based on that, Auburn fans would be very upset with their team and their coach. Not quite to the point of firing the man, but it would make his seat pretty hot.

Due to no electricity, seats in Arkansas have no heat. I may be wrong, but I think the relief from the heat that Gus has earned with the past 3 wins would be totally lost. His seat would be hot once again.

1) aubbie is our bitch

2) the game flat out has no implications whatsoever. It doesn't decide a division winner, and both are considered quality teams so no one is getting fired over this game. One team might not be ranked because of it big frickin woop. Stupid thread is stupid.

I can answer both questions.

Arky will love Bert even if he loses, and will roll in his fat forever.

Gus will be on the hot seat because no way should he lose to fat Bert this year.

Oh and you Arky fans can tell your fellow fan thejones, he can lick hawg Dicks

I think Auburn is content with being mediocre this year. Gus will be alright after Bert teabags his arse Saturday.

1) Bert still great
2) But, but our lives don't revolve around football. We better.
3) Gus is on hottest seat just based on Auburn postings here. Does he even have a supporter?
