I'm rooting for Bama. So should you.

1. I want my team to be the one to dethrone them, not Clempson.
2. We are already at peak Bama. Saban is already the GOAT and this is already the GOAT dynasty. Winning even more doesn't really move the needle in terms of media coverage or recruiting advantages or whatever.
3. Like it or not, "getting to play Bama every year" is a pretty good recruiting tactic. Unless you think your team is about to overtake Saban and Bama in terms of recruiting head to head against them, forget trying to do that and start thinking of them as a recruiting advantage for you instead of a recruiting disadvantage. This is a concept UTexas doesn't understand - no one wants to come play for you and your annual trips to Ames Iowa. The SEC benefits from its schools being able to say "you'll get to play between the hedges, in the swamp, in Death Valley, against Nick saban, etc....

I can respect all of that corndog but let me clarify something if you don't mind. I don't think Bama will be "dethroned" should they lose to Clemson tonight. The dynasty lives on as long as Saban is coaching and we are bringing in the best talent every year. The dynasty lived on after OSU spanked us in 2014 and it will live on if Clemson wins tonight.

OP, you join another long line of so called LSU fans coming on the SEC rant & worshipping at Nicky's feet. You & others of your ilk sound just like those Hollywood celebs telling me how to vote & why. As for the SEC benefitting, when exactly is the last time the SEC did anything for LSU?
