I’m not certain what’s with all the “additional” UGA hate

Most of the influx of “new” UGA posters are Tenn fans hoping to bad juju their coach out of KVille. We may win we may lose but we know it’s one game at a time and we ain’t calling out BAMA. We haven’t booked any tickets to Atlanta. We haven’t crowned ourselves the new SEC overlords. Yet

Good way to be especially knowing that knee-land stadium is bound to catch a few ankles and acl's while visiting teams are there.

UGA fans are the worse. Sad really because they used to be some of best.

Georgia is the program that is the best ALMOST program out there. They are usually good for an annual Florida loss. Even when they have top tier teams, they find a way to lose to teams that are subpar.
Nine years ago, Georgia was given the gift of AP and Coaches Preseason #1. That didn't hold up well. Losses to the next two national champions and to Tech; UGA had to discover what was in their wallet for a bowl win.
UGA is either cursed or they are who everyone thinks they are and that is an annual disappointment, whether it's a losing record, a barely above .500 mark, or a typical 10-3 type program that winds up in Tampa or Orlando for a bowl game.
If Georgia can run the regular season table to 12-0, and somehow dodges Alabama or even faces and defeats Alabama, they will be, for the first time since 1982, playing for a national title in the CFP.
Until then, Georgia is just Georgia.

That's lazy
First of all, UGA had one losing record under Richt and it came after the bowl loss and most of the time were finishing well above .500. I see the point you're trying to make, but you're trying to make a round peg go in a square hole.
If you're not willing to contrast two separate programs with different head coaches 9 years apart, then you're not really paying attention. You're trying to keep the narrative up with Georgia.
It's ok, I understand it. Oklahoma was attached to that "Big Game Bob" moniker. Which, you could still lazily say the same thing about OU. But I wouldn't, they have proven to have shaken that reputation.
ETA: Not saying UGA has fully shaken the "annual disappointment" rep based on one game vs Mississippi State, just saying it's just a lazy way to evaluate Kirby Smart UGA football.

OU going be OU, lose the games that actually matter. Nothing chokes like a land thief.

Well said. Also hilarious how hard they want to be accepted here even though they will never be in the league.

Nope. Not among the realists in the fanbase. We put up with too many years of Richt sunshine pumping and letdowns to be overconfident

LOL Coming from a AU fan this is ironic.

"worst". You meant to say that UGA fans are the worst. Example: Auburn fans are the worst spellers.

I'm in Athens, and that's not the sense I'm getting. The whole true frosh QB situation is still keeping most people's feet firmly on the ground. If Fromm can go to a hostile Neyland and win (and look good doing it), then people might start getting dreamy.
As for me, I'm waiting until at least after the Florida game before I start feeling good about UGA's chances.

Alabama fans view Ga. as a real threat, so everything from your family, your dog, your Ga landscaping is in real jeopardy.

..we fear nobody. In fact, it's good to see another team step up and start acting like an SEC powerhouse again....makes it interesting.

Let me know when Georgia wins games that matter.
