I'm eligible for temporary suitors. Who wants me?

I am an Arkansas fan, that will not change. However, it will be at least 2015 before my team has a chance of being respectable. So, who do I root for in the mean time and why?
I cannot choose A&M or Auburn. I am open for any other SEC team. My disdain for those two will not allow me to cheer for them.
FYI - right now I'm leaning toward Alabama but can be swayed

Florida could use some fans, from the brief time I have been on this board.
I would say my team, but you don't want the ridicule.

LSU seems to have some openings due to people jumping ship, and countless suicides so there's an option

oh man I completely forgot about the Auburn fan draft, that thread was awesome. I'm intrigued.

LSU needs some rent-a-fans right now. How are you at meltdowns?

Kentucky, obviously. Yes, you have to deal with the same futility, but the Wildcats are the only truly free football fanbase in the SEC. They don't expect great things, and freedom's just another word for never having felt hope in the first place.

quote:bullshite. Arky is on the rise. The improvement is already obvious. Last year you lost to Bama 52-0 at home. This year, with a new coach and a new attitude you weathered the storm and fought and managed to lose 52-0 ON THE ROAD.

That's an improvement. Hell if the game had been in Arky it may have only been 45-0 or even 45-7!

If you have a proclivity for whining about schedules, holding penalties, ESPN bias and location of the SEC offices I think you know what choice you have to make.

That was an awesome thread.

Calipari doesn't coach the football team, though, and my logic is impeccable. It will be a truly freeing experience. The reason Arkansas fans are miserable is that they had hopes and dreams. Once you get rid of those, there's no limit to how happy you can be. Your team could lose by 100 to Savannah State and you would go make sweet, sweet love to your wife instead of getting drunk and calling her a bitch while throwing beer bottles at passing motorists.

Might as well choose Bama. FSU might present the best combination of winningness and not non-rival though.
