I think they might. USC might not be as bad as we've all been saying.
Remember that lackluster win over UNC to start the season that no one paid attention to? Well, UNC is unbeaten since then. Yes, I know, ACC blah blah blah. But, they are a much better football team than we gave them credit for then.
The two straight losses to Kentucky and UGA looked bad at the time, but Kentucky has been giving everyone fits, beat Mizzou, took UF to the mat, etc. and they had UGA at their prime, with Chubb still doing his thing.
Losing at Mizzou is nothing to be ashamed of, most teams who have played them there the last three years have lost there.
And for what happened during LSU week, they played well during that game but justifiably ran out of the gas in the second half.
They came back and beat a feisty Vandy team the week after losing their coach completely out of the blue, and have had an extra week to get ready for this.
A&M, watch out. I'm not saying USC gets the win, but with A&M having the post-Bama/Ole Miss hangover and playing at home against a perceived lesser team, I think this could be a fight. Like Apollo's trainer said, "He thinks it's a damn fight!"

A&Ms defense is as strong as iron. I'd be shocked if SC gets any points at all.

Piss off. His interest is clearly with us.

Maybe if USC could run the ball. But they can't so A&M wins easily.

His question was rhetorical - he was referring to Gamecock fans coming down and giving your mother the old in-and-out this week ... all she can handle.
But to the OP - thank you for the mention but I would imagine A&M is going to throw for 500 yards against us. Our pass defense is horrible.
I'm not sure how we're going to handle the A&M D either.

Honestly thought we were playing Ole miss this week

Spurrier left last week, was on gameday last Saturday, and we played Vandy last Saturday. Yet you still said "they have had an extra week to prepare for this game".
Appreciate the optimism but there's no way we win.

When will LSU start pumping sunshine on Syracuse and Eastern Michigan?

best 3-4 (1-4) team without a head coach in the country.

And don't you dare forget it.
