And the program shut down like UAB, then what team would you root for? Or would you just root for SEC or something?
I would definitely choose a team from the east if LSU football went down. Probably Georgia . What say you all?
ETA: I could also quietly wait for the program to be reinstated, but that would have murdered recruiting and we'd be back in the horrid days with hardly any talent. It'd be quite the rebuild.

After burning down the UF president's house and killing all of the Florida BOTs.
I would root for Va Tech (most of family went there) and Army (know someone on the team) while awaiting the death penalty.

i wonder if Aubs would stick up for bama like they did for UAB. Considering they cried themselves to sleep every night after the Blazers got shut down

I'd watch fb, but I doubt I'd root for any particular team week in and week out.
I can't wrap my mind around just "choosing" a collegiate team of a university I didn't attend.
Most games, I'd likely pull for the underdog.

I honestly probably couldn't pick a team. I'd just root for the team I found most interesting at the time. And it would change.

I'd probably go Georgia Tech, because that's where my dad went to school. Though it'd be tempting to root for Georgia, since we bond in our hatred for Auburn.

I would have to pick one of the other teams in the state. My dad and uncle graduated from ULL, and I went there for a few years, so them.
