Right now for this season?

What would Alabama's record be and what
would your schools record be?

According to the Rant Les has already proven he can win championships with Saban's players, right?

Nick on the other hand has struggled the first year at every stop in his career. MiLes 15-0. Saban 7-6?

15-0 for Spurrier

This is tiring; for the last time, Spurrier couldn't go undefeated or win more than 1 national title in a less competitive SEC. What makes you think he'd do better at Alabama when he loses to the likes of 2010 Kentucky, 2011 Auburn, and 2013 Tennessee with his most accomplished teams?

Miles would go 14-1 and win the SEC and NC, but the loss would be to Ole Miss or Arky. Miles could have the 85' Bears and would still have a 50/50 chance of losing to those two. They have taken up a permanent residence in his dome.

If they adopted the attitude of LSU's program, then Alabama's 14-0 streak versus Arkansas and Ole Miss would be broken. You'd be swapping Cam Cameron and Chavis for Kiffin and Smart.

Nick Saban + Chavis + LSU's defensive talent = !!!
Cam Cameron would be the icing on the cake.
He'd have better special teams too, so he won't have to worry about missing critical field goals.

The SEC was less competitive; college football at large was way more competitive. UF had to contend w/ Bowden's FSU teams which, it should go w/o saying, were elite.

Also, these days, if you win the SEC you are pretty much guaranteed a shot at the title (and sometimes even when you don't win your own damn division). Spurrier won the SEC seven times but only played for the title twice. He didn't have the luxury of the auto bid to the BCSNCG.

Not to mention contending with the powerhouse Vols. Sure the conference as a whole might not have been as deep but between having to play FSU and UT every year that makes an undefeated season tough for anyone to come by.
