Lets say the overall story doesn't get vastly better or vastly worse. Do you want him if (likely candidates) Miles, Sumlin, Gus, Mullen, Stoops, Mason don't get it done this year and are fired?

Fans of teams with non-hot seat coaches can chime in too, but my hunch is that he ends up in the SEC next year and not at A&M (for various reasons)

I really hope no one hires him. What happened at Baylor is just on another level.

LSU is hiring Jimbo, we are hiring Herman and leaving the scraps (Briles) to A&M.

I agree and I've long thought he was scum of the earth....and now everyone is seeing that he's a pathological liar....but the redemption tour is starting this Saturday on the College Game Day interview....I think the lack of a paper trail or video evidence nailing him to the cross will allow someone to wriggle their way into hiring him.

As low as I think the guy is, I also think he's as guaranteed to win wherever he goes as pretty much anyone you could get outside of Saban and Meyer and a few others.

Briles is done. Some small school might take a flyer on him, but no big time university is going to take that PR hit.

there's been a couple desperate coonasses on the TR who have thrown it out. But they were e-slapped down. Briles has no business leading a team.

I'll kill myself if we even interview Briles

Jimbo pretty much did the same thing (at least once) with Winston...its just that FSU is smart enough to have their ducks in a row and get away with it. I'm not sure the school that hires or employs Jimbo is THAT much more morally superior to the school that hires Briles.

Absolutely not. I'd seriously consider not supporting Kentucky Football if they did.

Briles will get another HC job (though he shouldn't) just the nature of the beast.

That said the chances of him getting the Vanderbilt job when Mason gets fired are less than 0% after our own rape situation here in 2013. I don't want the guy leading the program anyway but with what happened at Baylor and what has happened here there's no way that's the direction VU would or could go.

I don't think Briles ever gets a D1 coaching job again. After the Petrino fiasco, Arkansas would never hire a man with Briles reputation anyway.

Jimbo with a couple of incidents (and the Winston one was sketchy at best) doesn't even come close to the shite that has gone down at Baylor under Briles.

God I hope not. I would rather Kiffin or Sark over that pile of shite.

I'm trying to think of a scenario that would lead to Saban being fired.

Nothing that doesn't also include a felony charge comes to mind.

The only D1 teams I could see going after Briles are USCw, Auburn, and South Florida.

His style would fit right in a Tennessee.
