If you think your athletic department is bad, consider this:
Tennessee is about to give Butch Jones a raise and extension for getting Tennessee as far in three years as James Franklin got Vanderbilt in two.
This, of course, comes after already giving him a raise and extension last year.
Somebody throw a brick at Dave Hart.

This is fricking embarrassing....no one would attempt to poach Butch Jones away, and now were fricked if we get a letdown season next year (which is entirely possible). Our AD is literally the worst.

I don't get the knee jerk contract extensions every year. I don't think that any contract has ever ended when it was supposed to. I would tell Butch, "Do better"

And, I know I will draw my fair share of dickbutts for this...but I think the UT recruiting footprint draws in enough talent to compete for a national title.
I may be horribly wrong, but I don't think Butch is the coach to take that talent and run the table.

We shouldn't give him a raise just yet, but it really it sickening that the only thing you ever do on this board is shite all over your own team and coaching staff. Does Butch have weaknesses and faults, and deserve criticism for some things? Of course. IMO he lost us the UF game. And the whole get up 17 and stop act annoys me to death. But both his team and his own decisions improved as the season progressed. His recruiting and player development is top notch. But I've never ONCE seen you say anything remotely positive about any of our players or coaching staff. If we want to continue our positive momentum, the last thing we need is negative energy from the fans.

I've said on multiple occasions that he has done well recruiting. And if you think fan negativity is what's holding us back, you're part of the reason Dave Hart and Botch can pull this scam on the fan base.
