I'd take Florida and let LSU have South Carolina just so all the swamp kittens would stop whining about having to play the Gators every year.

A&M for Florida. Nothing against A&M, just very little history compared to Florida.

I would swap Vanderbilt for LSU. Much harder opponent but much more intriguing.

It would be nice to have another easy opponent like Arkansas. Maybe TN.

Dump aTm for Ole Miss.

Better road trip, better women, and better class of people.

Bama or LSU for Vandy. I'm pretty sure everyone knows the reason.

Bring SAT averages on the field up, but Dores will keep your secret safe.

I'd love to get UT and Florida back. I grew up with those games. I wish we'd do away with permanent rivals just to rotate it around more.

either aTm for UGA or Florida for UGA

I really wanna go to Athens, and College Station blows. Gainesville is a nice game day atmosphere, but I've done that enough.

I'd swap Miss St or A&M for Georgia in a heartbeat. It sucks we dont get to go to Athens more and every LSU fan I know who has been loved it.

I'd swap Florida for Georgia. Much rather go to Athens every other year than Gainesville.

MSU or Arky for Florida. Both for UF and UT.

Pretty much this. A&M or Ole Miss for those two is fine as well. Miss those two rivalry games.

Obviously we don't mind playing Florida every year - we are 8-7 against them since 2000.
What is puzzling is the fact that, somehow, LSU's permanent SEC East opponent for decades - Kentucky was replaced.
Who and why ???
As I mentioned in another post, LSU had played Kentucky from the 1930s and 40s all the way up to the early 1990s. They were our "permanent" SEC East opponent.
It has nothing to do with whining about playing the Gators. Obviously we can hold our own against them, unlike you people.......

Come to think of it, I'd swap Texas A&M with South Carolina..

Tennessee isn't a rivalry anymore.

Considering it was always a made up rivalry created by Spurrier/Fulmer and surviving neither that's fair. If you mean to say "10 in a row" that isn't something that DQ's something from being a rivalry. You really shouldn't need reminding that things like that can turn on a dime (look at your own history as a program).

That all said, I'd rather have Aub than UF or even LSU than UF because we have an actual history with them that extends beyond the 90s and doesn't require coaches to create drama. Basically, any team with built in history instead of the kind of pro-wrasslin' fake drama UT-UF was always dependent on would be better. UT-UF has been running on fumes since we sent Spurrier out with a bang.

Not that I don't want to stomp your asses into the ground from now until eternity but in the grander scheme of things I prefer historical games that can sustain themselves.

MSU for LSU if it would be under the lights at both venues. Nothing like an October night game at Tiger Stadium or at Commonwealth after a day at Keeneland.

but at least Vandy is on A&M's intellectual level. Plus that is a great trip.

Uh, US news and World Report has Vanderbilt at 16 and Texas A&M at 68 with both Florida and Georgia in between. Maybe the Honors College at A&M is on the same level academically as Vanderbilt. Where you a graduate of their Honors Collge? Really, you don't have to answer that!
