If you could feel how Bama fans feel for just a few minutes you'd understand

It's more than just loving a team. It's more than feeling it's pulse and allowing it's success or failure determine your mood for days, week, or years at a time. Being an Alabama fan is knowing no matter how bad it gets it won't stay that way. Very quickly euphoria will return with another National Championship so you live every moment of your life with confidence that your team is the GOAT!

Holy shite you're kidding right. I love watching them win but good Lord man the same problems I had before 1/11 are still there. You need some perspective.

There is everyday life and there is football life. They are different.

Sports are a great distraction from life issues but if the OP is even remotely serious then he needs to take a step back and reevaluate his life.

Translation: My self-worth is based on the success of a football team.

It gives me great pleasure reading the insults and indignities of the non-Alabama fans. They don't know what I know - and for that I truly feel sorry for them. To be a winner is a mighty pleasurable thing - and to be the GOAT is a joy that is indescribable - but I will continue to try. Roll on Glorious Tide Roll!

My friend, I live in New Orleans and have for 35 years. I woke up on 1/12 with one very big problem solved... I could go to work amid a passel of LSU fans, and go play golf on the weekend at the CC with a hoard of people wearing purple and gold, and not hear one peep from them.

Knowing I am going to have 8 months of blissful freedom from their rabid-dog BS is truly one less burden to deal with, and that equates to a problem solved, however temporarily. Roll Tide in perpetuity.

The irony of that picture is amazing. Taken at the annual Auburn rodeo. Take a look at the hicks standing behind him.

You are not a winner. You are not on the team.

I hope you're trolling.

What a sad pitiful existence. If this is what gives your life meaning, I truly am sorry for you.

I don't know you and you don't know me. Life has a million pleasures and tortures and most of us feel many of them. All I'm saying in this post is there is one torture I have never felt: that my team is not the GOAT. Can you say that?
