We suck so bad we beat you in our series this year. And you're lucky Florida had a more difficult SOS in-conference or we would have won the SEC outright too.

No you didn't dumbass. LSU played all top 5 teams excluding LSU on the road. UF played LSU and UK at home and didn't even play the other 2 teams in the top 5. You can stick that BS right back up your arse

You still sound mad. You guys made the final four. Congrats. I've moved on from bashing you guys til next basketball season. You already have to suffer with Muschamp and I feel your pain on that, so I won't make it worse.

Naw. You all know you'd pick baseball too and just don't want to admit that it sucks and almost isn't even a sport. It's recreation. A sport with majority of the players just standing around for most of the game is not a "sport." Hell, at least in golf, you walk and hit the ball much more often. More of a "sport" than baseball.

Football and basketball on the other hand? Florida has you beat pretty badly.

Slight advantage in the all time record for football with equal national titles. Florida basketball is better recently, but was pretty irrelevant before Donovan was hired - LSU has more SEC championships and only one less Final Four appearance. Hardly what anyone would describe as "beat pretty badly".

Well as an LSU fan gun to my head I would choose basketball. Baseball and football for us is ALWAYS exciting. Basketball almost never is. However, when LSU has had good teams in the past, basketball is as fun as the other sports.

LSU basketball has actually been very exciting over the last 30 years. That's all I remember bc thats how long I've been alive, but we have had some very successful teams in basketball just in my lifetime. When basketball is rolling at LSU, there's no doubt that it's the # 2 sport.

At least LSU basketball has no where to go but up right now. So at least you guys have that going for you. Hopefully you can convince Shaq's kid to de-commit from wherever he did (USC?) and commit to you all.

Hahaha, you're right about that. We have absolutely no where to go but up. Johnny jones ran this program into the mud. I expect will wade to bring it back fairly quickly though. I think the whole "shaq's son" ship has sailed, and you can't blame the guy bc of where our program has been these past few years under jones. Damn, it's pathetic, considering what kind of support our athletic dept has from fan support and the administration, to facilities and finances. It's just ridiculous what jj did to this program. We arent kentucky or florida basketball by any means, but we have enough resources to field a damn strong product each and every year and to contend for championships in the sec and make deep runs in the ncaas every few years.

Wrong board....but extremely excited about the Saints....we can make a run over the next 3 years including this year.

I see an 11-5 season this year assuming we get through that brutal 4 game stretch to start the season.

I agree. I think the saints are going to surprise some teams this year. We are flying under the radar that's for sure, but that's the way I like it. Who Dat?!

Our division is going to be tough but if we can go 4-2 against Atlanta, Carolina and Tampa I'll be ecstatic.

So you wanna eliminate baseball only because you guys choke literally every year and never win the CWS? Yeah I guess that checks out.
Says the LSU fan who'd probably pick to get rid of college basketball, the nationally popular sport, over college baseball, the regional sport that struggles to get airtime on FS1, because LSU's basketball program has been a mess

We're good at all of them, so baseball is the obvious choice

I'll give you a serious response. Football and basketball both generate millions in terms of revenue for most schools. On average, baseball actually loses money each year to the tune of $700,000. If you combined every SEC baseball stadium, you could seat 93,000 people, which would make it the 6th largest football stadium in the conference. The average SEC baseball stadium seats 6,600 people, while the average football stadium seats 80,600. Baseball's national championship is broadcast on ESPNU and the highlights are lucky to get on SportsCenter. College baseball is closer to crew or swimming than it is to football in terms of popularity. Anyone who tells you they'd sacrifice football or basketball for baseball is either a liar or part of an extremely small minority. People talk a big game about loving college baseball, but the numbers tell a different story.

I'd ditch football. It takes up way too much of my time when the weather is so great, and I could be having a much better time doing things that are way more fun than pulling my hair our.

$aban is to blame for my particular condition. He's taken most of the fun out of college football. So, frick him. And, frick Alabama. Especially the sidewalk alumni. There's so many of them.
