10-2 and would have beat, the #1 team Bama in the SECCG and in the reg season beat FSU and beat the #2 L6U regions season. Hard to ima5the SEC Champs being left out.

No easy way to say yes or no. Depends on how the rest of the field shakes out. My guess would be that the field, after your scenario, would be

1) Ohio State
2) Clemson
3) Alabama
4) Washington

5) Florida
6) Louisville

So to answer your question, I don't think that UF would get in, even with a wins over Alabama, LSU, and Florida State. Their resume wouldn't be good enough compared to Alabama's (wins over USC, Ole Miss, LSU, Texas A&M, and Auburn). Alabama would still clearly be better than UF based on the whole season and UF wouldn't get in.

Bama would fall out of the top 10. We've looked awful playing the easiest schedule in the conference

Agree, Bama would be but it.would.be weird to not have the SEC champ in.

Lots of ball to be played. Dont understand all The hand wringing at this point. It usually works out the last few weeks.

Washington gets left out in that scenario. Bama at #4. UF at #3.

If the red team stopped wearing those god-awful red-colored jerseys, would they look less hideous?

Bama would not fall out of the top 10 with a 12-1 record, and it's absurd to think they will. They're undoubtedly one of the top teams in the country and even with a loss, they would still be top 4.

I like this better than my scenario actually.

Therefore...

1) Ohio State
2) Clemson
3) Florida
4) Alabama

The SEC is not putting two teams in the playoff this year.

The best two conferences, the B1G and SEC could have teams in the playoffs that are not conferences champions yet the two best teams in the country

IF they win out yes they would likely make it. It would be deserving also.

Chances aren't great of course.

So, if Bama lost the SECCG by a miracle play then they ,can't be in the CFPO? You don't think they would still be one of the top 4 teams in CF?

Isn't that the goal? To get the 4 best teams?

If UF wins out...I see Bama and UF in the CFPs. And its not like its impossible either...not saying we would win out but not saying we dont. College football is full of surprises and the media would have a fricking field day if it happened.

First things first...purple and gold, then the Florida State College for Women then the SECCG.

Ahhhh easy pleesy lemon squeesy
