Are you kidding? They got jealous hearing about TCU teaming up with Alabama at the off-campus football camps. TEXAS joining the SEC would chase aggy down the rathole for another 20/30/40 year stretch, as they have in the past.

But the aggy earlier in the thread was right: the UT faculty would revolt if TEXAS joined the SEC. It's a non-starter. Plus, the aggy/TEXAS football series is finished. Finito. Done.

1) Texas would not be allowed in the SEC

2) They would quickly drop to the bottom because their sports teams are bad. see: baseball, football, basketball (though their basketball team has hope).

3) They stopped playing State and the Black Bears since we've won 4 out of 5 against them in football. Hell, even Arkansas has whupped them recently.

4) Their fans suck.
