They both would have still lost, but the whiny bitch portion of the fanbases would have to look a little harder for their pathetic excuses...

There is no way to tell.

I think the calls in the LSU game had more of an effect than the QB. I am a BAMA fan but there were several very bad calls toward the end that looked like we were obviously getting help from the zebras.

Please list the "several" bad calls. Thanks.

That's the point I'm trying to make. All these hypothetical X vs Y threads are stupid. We don't know what would have happened. Alabama took advantage of the breaks and won.Same with LSU in '07. Tennessee took advantage of the Arkansas fumble and blasted their way into the end zone.I can assure you had Bama lost McElroy and lost either of those games,we would have heard it here.

scoop the int call was bad everyone agrees but dont be a suck up. Up until that point the game was fairly evenly called.

shite the second half of the bama game was one of jarrett lee's better performances (other than the late meaningless interception he threw)

thread should be retitled "if texas had not lost their qb and refs had ruled interception" but i gander it wouldnt fit

Anytime a Texas fan tries to justify losing to 'Bama because McCoy got knocked out just make sure to tell them if that was the case than Oklahoma obviously would have beaten Texas if Bradford wasn't knocked out.
