If TAMU beats either LSU or Florida in 2012, do they go to the NC?

I mean I would be pretty pissed off if I lost to those two shitty teams but beat Bama at Bama

if oklahoma state beats iowa state in 2011, does the 2011 LSU team go down as one of the greatest teams in the history of college football? id be pretty pissed off if i had to have a rematch against a team we already beat and that game utterly changed the program of both both schools

Would they have beaten UGA in the SECCG? I don't think so. UGA was on a tear at the end of 2012.

see that kind of hurts but seeing as Aggies have never been close to the NC it doesn't sting as much.

No.
Here's how it would shake out: A&M beats UF, goes to SECCG, loses to UGA - Bama goes to the BCSCG.

So was A&M. It would have been a great game.

Don't fool yourself, A&M was the hottest team in CFB by the last month of the 2012 season and could have beaten UGA in Atlanta. It would have been a tossup, and a call or play or two would have been the difference.
That said, it doesn't matter because A&M could have lost to Ole Miss instead of UF, so 2 losses was about right for that team, and we'll never know anyway because the coaches didn't let Johnny be Johnny on opening weekend. They also admitted as much.
One thing is certain, Notre Dame lucked into their arse kicking and wouldn't have beaten UGA or A&M.

No doubt.
The SEC had several very good teams in 2012, and any could beat another on a given day.
Alabama
LSU
Texas AM
Florida
Georgia
South Carolina

uh, both LSU and Florida were pretty good teams in 2012.
I think they would lose to Georgia in the SECCG in this hypothetical game but with Georgia's historical issues against mobile QBs, who knows?

Who knows what would have happened, as said before, both teams (A&M and Georgia) were playing extremely well. The frustrating thing, is that I think every team stated in this thread would have beat the shite out of ND that year.
Can you imagine how unbearable we would be if we won the national title our first year in?

Nope. That year the SEC Championship game winner would be the national champion after shitting all over Manti Teo and his fake girlfriend.

The only difference between Notre Dame against Alabama in 2012 or Notre Dame against A&M or Georgia in 2012 would have been the score.
The A&M team that played Oklahoma in the Cotton Bowl might have beaten Notre Dame 84-10.

No because Texas A&M had no defense as usual. All they had was a quarterback whose team got lucky and played Alabama after Bama had played an emotional game at LSU the week before. At that A&M barely beat Bama, yet everyone thought they where the next Bama.

I honestly think they would have. Sorry not sorry Ags
