You aren't going to get the answer you're looking for here.

Mike Shula was 10-15 and Alabama still kept him around for 2 more years. LSU wants to fire Les Miles after he has gone 110-32. Awful.

They fired Curry after 3 years with a 26-10 record after 3 years. His teams got better each year (5, 3, then 2 losses) and tied for the sec title his final year.

The question was, would you be happy with Saban having the same record as Miles for the past 3 years.

Most Alabama fans would not be, IMO.

You are right.... Most fans wouldn't be happy, but knowing how low the program was before he got here, I doubt many would be in a rush to see him canned.

Interesting. Just read up on it more. My mistake. I work at GSU and he had an office in the same buildings as me for a while. Used to see him the little Soul Food restaurant downstairs. He's a nice man and had some good stories. I'm a network admin and helped them get temp meeting space setup to work for them when their first season kicked off and the practice facility wasn't ready. He sent my boss the most glowing email praising my efforts I've ever seen.

Then last two coaches to be fired from Alabama were Mike Dubose and Mike Shula. In four years Dubose had 2 winning seasons and Shula had 1 winning season. That is grounds for a firing. Shula was even given an ultimatum to keep his job and he refused. LSU is straight up kicking one of their greatest coaches ever to the curb.

Oh yeah Mike Price. Haha, that fricking guy.

Saban would survive.

Bryant went 8-3, 6-5, 6-5 in the late 60's and we didn't fire him. That was after winning a few titles. We stuck it out with him and it led to our run on the 70's.

LSU's overreacting. Outside of Saban, nobody in the SEC is lighting the world on fire at the moment.
