If the unthinkable happened and CNS decided to move on from Bama, who would be the most likely replacements?

Is bama truly a destination job given all the pressure and BS that goes with the territory?

I'm sure they would give an LSU coach a call.

Was a serious question. I was thinking Kirby Smart.

Yes, especially after Saban does leaves maintaining it shouldnt be too hard

they would maybe even bring in Smart or another past assistant that could keep Sabans machine rolling

It is for some coaches but certainly not all. It's a top level program with great resources. Some coaches would embrace the history and pressure in order to coach at the top level, others prefer going to Michigan

At any top BCS program there is pressure to win and win quickly. I would not consider a destination job one that accepts being average.

I would say it's a destination job, unless you're scared you can't perform. Fanatical fan base, great recruiting state, and Alabama is a big enough program to have a shot with any recruit in the country. Not to mention that it's one of those schools with enough hype and tradition around it that if you ever go undefeated or just go one loss you're a lock to National Championship.
