They are not getting the death penalty. They'll probably get a similar punishment as USC. Maybe even less.

It's even more that...Our Football revenue is pretty good not to mention our school and FSU have proven you don't have to be in the Alabama Conference to thrive as a football program. There is also the GOR..we have signed our media right over to the ACC for another decade or so...We ain't going anywhere and don't need to.

I would've loved to have added FSU & Clemson instead of MiZzzou and aTm, but the Mud Lizards and USCjr wouldn't allow it. I'd take UNC/NC State and VA Tech, though, to round out the map.

Pussies at FSU had their chance when the SEC added Arky and USCjr.

Hattiesburg makes Oxford look like Hooterville. It would definitely be an upgrade.

They would never do that with Ole Miss not having a football team and all. Would have to package the Mississippi schools for that trade to work.

That would be the worst mistake ever made by the SEC. The longwhores believe they are entitled (their own network) and will not cooperate with any league anywhere.

CU is right. Clemson has its fit. Plus ACC football is improving from top to bottom.

Also North Carolina is bell cow for Tobacco Road. Even if it split for the SEC, Duke would have to be part of the package. And that, as much as I would like it, ain't gonna happen.

We will never see another death penalty case in football IMO but question: what single required aggravating factor is absent in whatever NCAA dealings they have going on with Ole Miss?

Disclaimer: If there was a similar incident (or set of incidents like the Baylor basketball team where we ended up with Lawrence Roberts, was to occur in football that is a different matter. But IIRC, they self-imposed a death penalty on their program.

ETA: Just looked it up. Baylor was eligible for the death penalty but since they cooperated with the NCAA (unlike SMU), they avoided the death penalty.

If either of you had to play in the SEC you wouldn't fare so well.We kick each other's butts all season and the same would happen to you.You and FSU thrive because you play so few tough teams during the regular season. If you had to play Bama,LSU, TA&M,Arkansas,Auburn,Fla.etc every season you would understand what I'm saying.
