If the Irish start off with something like this what will they be in the polls?

W vs Temple 38-10
L vs UGA 31-14
L vs Boston College 21-20

I say they will be in the 23-25 range just because they are so far up the media's arse that they'll put them that high. If ND goes 2-2 then they'll be in the top 15, mark my words.

Depends on where they start the season, but I'd say they'd be unranked

What a stupid thread. They were #10 last year, started 1-2, and were unranked going into week 4

Notre Dame is a has been. Former blueblood, that haven't done anything in over 20 years.

ND only claim to fame recently is getting destroyed by Bama in the 13 NCG. If they don't get in a conference soon, they will never return to their former glory.

I'd say 13-18, it really depends on how bad they get by BC.

They could beat us and Temple but a home loss to BC would plummet them in the rankings. BC is awful.

They've gone 7-6 three out the last four years. They aren't great but they aren't the worst of the P5s either.

What would they be ranked if they're 3-0? Anybody who watched a single Georgia game in 2016 (pick any game) wouldn't be shocked to see us flounder on the road a long way from home against a P5 team. I wouldn't waste much time on this line of speculation until we see what we put on the field, especially offensively.

I think there's a better chance they're 3-0 than 1-2.
