If McElwain leaves, does Kiffin get an interview?

Would he have a shot? Who else might be considered?

One could argue that Kiffin might be a better pick than either of the last two.

Apparently todays coaching rumor is McElwain is interested in the Oregon job because he used to play football in Washington back in college. Throw in some Nike $$$$ and we have a rumor! Lets start tracking flights!

Lot more wood to gnaw on in Oregon than Florida.

He's also from Montana, so it's close to home.

If he left, I'd like to see these guys get a call.
1. Dan Mullen
2. Chad Morris
3A. Charlie Strong, provided he brings OC Gilbert along with him
3B. Dave Aranda, Hey its gonna happen, at this point why not us? I think he has NFL hopes though.

I like Lane, but i wouldnt trust him as HC.

I don't believe he is. His agent (last I heard) is Jimmy Sexton and he is just doing his job. Mac has had Florida in the SECCG his first 2 years on the job. Thats worthy of a raise. If Florida thinks they can do better them don't pay up and watch him land at Oregon. It's a relatively easy game for Jimmy and he's one of the best if not the best.

If I could have any job in the world, it would be his.

This. Sexton getting another client a raise. Two years ago, it was Freeze to UF. A national writer gets click bait for telling Sexton's tale.

Maybe bring in Freezus as the OC? That would be awesome.
