I wouldn't, but I didn't pull for the other SEC teams either.

Probably. I always root for the SEC outside of AU and UT.

But 3 out of 4 changes things. Can't say for sure. But probably.

Do you have any idea how many holding calls LSU would have to get away with for that to happen?? Assuming all that....
Hell YEAH I'd pull for the Tigers.

Hell no. I did root for them in 2003 and 2007 but there's no way I would root for a third LSU MNC. Funny thing is that LSU deserved a MNC way more in 2011 than they did in 2003 and 2007 but I guess those are the breaks sometimes.

Well said. I tend to agree. Don't get me wrong, I think those '03 and '07 teams were very good but man did they catch some breaks late in the season to hang around and be in it at the end. Last year definitely "deserved" it more. Doesn't always work that way though.

How many LSU fans pulled for Tebow & the Gators to win their 3rd in 4 years during the 2009 season?

You're welcome..

I pulled for UF in 08 against Oklahoma.

Despite the fact that I fricking hated Tebow and was pissed about the game and felt we should've won.

If the NC had been just a week after the SECCG, I might not have pulled for the Gators.

@ Genro

I know what you mean. In 2008 my best friend was an Oklahoma fan and we were hoping all year for an Alabama-OU BCSNC. When Florida beat us, I was heartbroken... However, during the BCSNC game my inner SEC homer took over and I pulled for the Gators. He still holds it against me to this day.

No, because it does no good for a rival of Bama to win at anything. It gives them exposure and helps their national recruiting and gives them plenty of face time on the tube

Absolutely as long as they weren't playing us or another SEC team I like better

I've decided I would root for LSU, to keep the entire streak going.

Remember, this will be 7 SEC NC's in a row. Only 3 of which are by Bama. So it's still mostly an SEC streak.

I pulled for you in 2003, and in 2007. LSU is my second favorite SEC team, despite how much most of your fans hate us and the fact that almost all of you are batshit crazy.
