22 people have died in space bro. it isn't something to joke about.
More than that if you count all the Russians who were sent up there during their "trial and error" phase.

And outside of NOLA, Louisiana is a 3rd world country full of the trashiest fans America has to offer. If you are a star high school player, in Louisiana, and you commit to anyone other than LSU you are putting you and your family in jeopardy... Sad really.
Yeah!! Bama keeps it classy. They save the death threats for field goal kickers who miss field goals.

Funny that an Alabama fan talks about a state being 3rd world

For LSU fans to believe that every LA kid wants to play for LSU is naive, the only problem I have is when some recruits want to drag the process on till the end knowing they're going elsewhere costing other possible commitments
Of course they do and I have no problem with kids going out of state but these idiots on here talking about Coach O being shitty for trying to keep them in state are just fricking stupid as frick. THAT'S HIS frickING JOB.

The real issue is not about kids leaving the state to play football, but the bigger question of at what point should the level or value of a degree from an institution be weighted in the decision.
Very frankly, there are many better options academically than LSU. At what point should this idea that no one should leave the state or be branded a traitor need to be put aside for the long term benefit of an individual?
Are you a traitor to leave the state to go play at Harvard if you are a 2* or less prospect? Should the cultural peer pressure also demand that that individual go to a in state school? Or does this hypocrisy only apply to kids that are considered elite athletically?
At some point, the idea that this push is what is best for the individual needs to be shown to be the farce that it is. Nothing in this is about what is better for the student, it is what is better for O and LSU.

You think tRant represents LSU as a fanbase.
That's like saying all Bama fans are exactly like Jacknola.

Coach O needs to quit lying to these kids and tell them the truth. That there is a life outside of Louisiana and most people in the state move away if they want a future and to find a well paying job. Nothing wrong with Louisiana as I love the state but it is the god's honest truth
I don't agree that there is "Nothing wrong with Louisiana." I don't love it. Highly ignorant and uneducated population. Don't like the partying/drinking culture. Corrupt politics.
There are few well paying jobs here for college grads and that's why so many leave the state.
LSU football players are an exception though. They are set for life with a decent job in-state after they graduate. (Which other LSU grads are not)..........

Your point? I never said it didn't go on at LSU. In fact, my point was the exact opposite. My point was that it goes on AT EVERY MAJOR COLLEGE. Some people let this become far more important to their lives than it really is.

He's not a fan of an SEC school
He's a big 12 fan, and an alter at that

People assume that recruits have their level of fandom "The guy went to High School in Baton Rouge! His school colors are Purple and Gold! I mean, of course!" or the "He can come in and start right away" routine or the "Commit to the G and help us build something special" as if the kid owes you to help build your program. I have said it a million times, leave high school kids the frick alone. Its not all about you and your butthurt fandom if a kid goes somewhere else

Well, they can be butthurt all they want, just don't take it out on the kid or act like he fricked up. Being upset about it, while weird, isn't bad unless you're a dick about it.

Maybe I am in the minority but I have never been upset at a recruit for where he chose to go play. Ever

I wasn't thrilled when Winston chose FSU and Kiel chose elsewhere while we got stuck with Alec Morris, but I don't remember having any ill will toward either of the kids who didn't come here.
