...is it a stepping stone job for him to eventually go to somewhere like Texas, Notre Dame, USC, etc.?

I ask this in all seriousness, is LSU the type of job that can keep a guy like him there for a career (assuming he does well and doesn't try the NFL)?

I'm not trolling, I just want to know how LSU would stack up if other big time, perennial schools come after him.

Kind of like when other big schools go after Jimbo, even though he is at an already powerhouse school.

Most SEC teams are not "stepping stone" jobs to other college teams. Might be a stepping stone to an NFL HC job but not to another college team.

Also, nothing to be scared about. It's football, not life and death.

Assuming you're being honest...

It depends on the coach and school honestly. LSU can match money with any program...but Texas. For some coaches, it's not really about money if "that one school" comes calling.

Look how many said Miles would spurn LSU and go to Michigan...twice. It was also reported they outbid LSU and Miles still turned them down.

It's a relative question, but I think the general answer is that LSU isn't a stepping stone program.

See, this is the kind of response I was honestly asking for.

If he does well at LSU then sure I guess other schools and NFL might want him.
I don't think LSU is a stepping stone job but who knows.

On the contrary, an Alabama fan shot another Alabama fan in the fricking face over Kick6.

Last I checked murder is life or death.
