That is the public story, not necessarily the truth. The old man was in sports and friends with both. The reality is not always what make the history books.

Instead of the vain attempt at talking in some sort of cryptic language, how about you show us your sources? Every book I have ever read on Bear Bryant contradicts your thesis. If he was fired or run out of Lexington, it's been 60 years, that information would have come out by now.

So they ran out the only coach at KY to win an SEC championship and the only one to be considered for a national championship? I don't think so.

Not necessarily if a storyline grows and takes on a life of its own. Not saying he was fired or run out, just saying there were some grumblings on his ability to beat Tennessee back in a time when beating Tennessee was a desire of UK fans.

The bigger point tho is if you lose too often to a rival it is the biggest reason to get the boot.

I don't know about business confidentiality, however U.S. intel makes you sign a 70 year confidentiality agreement on your last day turning in your badge.

No.

Football Season Tickets at Peak Demand

He'd need a couple 3-9 seasons or a genuinely anti-social off-field scandal before anyone even starts whispering.

Meyer has tOSU rolling and is a better coach than Harbaugh. I don't see many Urban coached teams losing to him.

Sooner or later, scandal will beat Meyer, regardless of Harbaugh.
