If Georgia would have played GT in Athens, would Richt still have been fired?

Would UGA fans be as supportive of Richt as LSU fans were to Miles last night given that they both were on the hot seat?

The overwhelming amount of support Miles received in Tiger Stadium along with the win over the Aggies saved his job. No Athletic Director could fire a coach after the home crowd shouts his name and his players carry him off the field.

We are all glad he beat aTm. Richt seems like he was a dead man walking all season

Nobody expected Richt to be fired today...it wasn't like LSU where the news falsely broke the night before.

During a noon game? Absolutely.

I'm fairly certain he was out if he didn't win the division.

Honestly, the UGA administration handled it with as much class as you can. I Wish LSU's administration had the same class. He didn't find out on an ESPN ticker or information wasn't leaked out to be put in newspaper/online articles for 2 weeks.
