Another Fournette thread, that's just what this board needs.

It's a legit question. He would have had a "bummed ankle" if he had of won.

Explain what difference that would have made?

Right

Well to be fair, an average running back wouldn't win it so the answer is no.

Had he stayed healthy all year (Which would have been required for him to win the Heisman) I think he would. He's trying to get healthy so he can do well at the combine.
I hope this doesn't become a habit in college football, but I understand why he is doing, it, too. McCaffrey raises more red flags, than Fournette.

If he would have played well enough and long enough to win the Heisman, LSU would likely be in the playoffs. So, probably, yes.

L6U fans have bent obliged and spread them defending Fournette. I would need wut their reaction would be if LSU was in the playoffs?
Business decision?

Fournette is injured what do you guys want from the guy

Tough to say, but if they were in the playoff, you bet your sweet arse he would be playing. I tend to agree with Saban on the diminishing of other bowl games other than the playoffs. The other bowl games outside of the playoffs really don't mean anything anymore. So, first round grades like LF7 and CM5 don't want to put their NFL hopes in jeopardy. Now granted, LF7 has more of an out with this because he's had a bum ankle all year.

I can't remember the last time an average RB went top ten overall?
You could count Trent Richardson but he's well below average.

well if he had won the heisman that probably means he wouldnt have been hurt all year. so yeah he probably would have played in the bowl game. anymore brain busters?

GTFOH you fricking troll. The dude is hurt and doesn't want to jeopardize his professional career. Why is that difficult to comprehend?

So is his decision to skip out on LSU's football banquet also because he's "injured?" He wasn't too hurt to cut up on the sidelines as LSU lost to Florida. It's time to face the facts: he never lived up to expectations, quit on the team after losing to Bama in 15, and got out of LSU as quickly as possible. For the life of me I can't understand why LSU fans still worship the guy.
