In case anyone was wondering now that Florida is going to lose at least 2 games.
Let's play a game and figure this shite out.
My only real question is if a team loses a tiebreaker to the other 2 teams, are they eliminated from the next tiebreaker or does it carry over like skins in golf?
Here's the scenario.
Florida loses to UGA and LSU. Finishes 6-2.
UGA wins out. Finishes 6-2
Kentucky loses to UGA but finishes 6-2 or UT wins out and finishes 6-2.
If it's Florida/UGA/Kentucky, the following happens.
A) Florida would be 1-1 vs the 2 teams. UK 1-1. UGA 1-1. Tie.
B)Florida is 5-1 in the division. UGA is 5-1. UK is 4-2. (UK is eliminated, UGA wins H2H)
C) If it's LSU Florida would be 0-1. If it's Alabama UGA would be 0-1. If it's A&M, 0-0 for everyone.
D) This is the most retarded tie breaker ever. As Kentucky plays Auburn and Miss St. So they would be 2-0. Florida and UGA would be 1-1.(Kentucky wins)
E) Only common opponent would be UGA and Kentucky being 1-0 vs Auburn.
F) Same as E.
G) Florida: LSU and Miss (Winner)
Georgia: Alabama and Auburn (Eliminated)
Kentucky: Miss St and Auburn(Eliminated)
Florida, UGA, UT
A) Everyone is 1-1
B) Florida 5-1, UGA 5-1, UT 4-2, UT eliminated, UGA wins H2H.
C) LSU, Florida 0-1. Alabama, UT 1-0, UGA 0-1. A&M 0-0.
D) UT would be 2-0, Florida 1-1, UGA 1-1. (UT Wins)
E) Bama: UT 1-0, UGA 0-1.
F) Same as E. No common opponent for the 3.
G) UT: Bama and Arkansas
UGA: Bama and Auburn
UF: LSU and Ole Miss (winner)
Does 1 team have to win the tiebreaker over the other 2 or are you eliminated if you lose 1 to the other 2?

quote:
Three-Team Tie (or more): If three teams (or more) are tied for a division title, the following procedure will be used in the following order: (Note: If one of the procedures results in one team being eliminated and two remaining, the two-team tiebreaker procedure as stated in No. 1 above will be used):
A. Combined head to head record among the tied teams;
B. Record of the tied teams within the division;
C. Head to head competition against the team within the division with the best overall Conference record (divisional and non divisional) and proceeding through the division (multiple ties within the division will be broken from first to last and a tie for first place will be broken before a tie for fourth place);
D. Overall Conference record against non divisional teams;
E. Combined record against all common non divisional teams;
F. Record against the common non divisional team with the best overall Conference record (divisional and non divisional) and proceeding through other common non divisional teams based on their order of finish within their division; and
G. Best cumulative Conference winning percentage of non-divisional opponents (Note: If two teams' non-divisional opponents have the same cumulative record, then the two-team tiebreaker procedures apply. If four teams are tied, and three teams' non-divisional opponents have the same cumulative record, the three-team tiebreaker procedures will be used beginning with 2.A.)
H. Coin flip of the tied teams with the team with the odd result being the representative (Example: If there are two teams with tails and one team with heads, the team with heads is the representative).

Once one of the three teams is eliminated through the procedures, then it goes to the head to head winner of the remaining.

So UGA wins regardless.

You just wasted your time OP, we beat GAg with Treon, and Muschamp last year. We have a better team this year. We are going to win the east, so better get used to it.

If we somehow shock Bama, it wouldn't be off the table. We would likely win out, but we would still need UF to choke, and UGA to play well. If AP rankings are the tiebreaker, ideally we shock Bama then run the table (our schedule is definitely easy enough to do it) UF drops LSU, GA and FSU, and UGA wins out against the SEC but loses to GT. Or I suppose UK could realistically work themselves in too. It could be crazy.

LOL, the only way Kentucky finishes 6-2 is if Coach Cal takes the reins

This is the first thing you say, and it's completely wrong. UGA would advance in this scenario because we would be 2-0 against those two teams.
