Also, why did Spurrier go for it on 4th and 1 at the 10 yard line?

He said in his post game that one of his assistant coaches talked him into it and it was his worst call of the night.

While you have rb corp that is the best in the SEC imo, it doesnt mean squat when the opponent stacks the line and forces average qb to throw. Your qb last year was average and we will see about Lambert or whatever his name is.

Just dont give up 414 yds rushing and you will be fine Tyler Dog.

If none of those guys better Hood's stats against SC, they aren't as good as Hood and everyone will know.

In what world is giving up 130 yards and a td slowing a RB down?
It was his lowest output of last year minus the Troy game where he got limited snaps (only 6)...

Clemson 15 att 198 yards 13.2 avg 51 Long 3 TD's
SC 20 att 131 yards 6.6 avg 40 long 1 TD
Troy 6 att 73 yards 12.2 avg 48 long 0 TD
Tennessee 28 att 208 yards 7.4 avg 51 long 2 TD
Vandy 25 att 163 yards 6.5 avg 26 long 2 TD

Translation: Gurley is/was a beast.

You are still shorting gurley a 54 yard td run vs sc.

SC did just fine slowing down Gurley last year (131 yards on 20 carries) with lesser d-line talent.

Whuuuuuuut?

6.5 yards a carry is slowing somebody down?
We certainly didn't lose because Gurley was slowed down. ONE reason we lost is because we had a TD called back that the SEC office admitted was a bad call. Would have made the difference.

Another reason we lost is because South Carolina just outplayed us.

You should read more of the thread. It's relative. It's a good night, but we expected Gurley to run for a lot more than that

Yeah. I saw that after I posted. I jump the gun too often. You'd think I would learn.

No, the refs get credit for that, not espn or your d.
