I think I have bama figured out finally.

Everyone on the two deep is actually a starter.

Some start the game from the first series.

Some are designated starters for a certain defense called.

Some are third down starters.

Some are pass rush starters.

Some are two minute starters.

Some are fourth quarter starters.

Some are future starters that count as current starters.

BUT, most importantly they are ALL 5* players.

I'd be more concerned about LSU not developing offensive talent.
