Why the hell do you guys want NCST? Because they look ok this year? This is lazy AF analysis on about 85% of this thread. NCST is no better than Mizzou or Texas A&M and it is not debateable. NCST brings very little to the TV market as Raleigh isnt exactly a mecca. Their stadium is ok but Carter Finley isnt all that.

If the SEC wants TV markets VT and Texas are your guys.

NCST or UCF add nothing. To suggest they are is like a dumbass AD taking the hot young coach without thinking through it clearly.

If the conference expands, they're not going to do so by doubling down in markets they already completely own like Georgia and Louisiana.

They'll look to go to North Carolina, Virginia or Oklahoma.

I think you guys should bring in UNLV, University of Toronto, and South Lake Carroll High School.

I'd take both back if the SEC gets turned down by Texas or Oklahoma or Oklahoma State. I'd like to see GA Tech back in the SEC in a way. I don't care for Tulane back in the SEC unless you want to have a beatable team in the SEC West to sort of schedule a break for the power teams.

Vandy West

we need to make this happen

would restore the power balance between East & West

Tulane and Ga Tech can screw each other.

2 for 16: Virginia team and Oklahoma team.
4 for 18: N Carolina team and another Texas team. I would like UT just to watch the Aggies heads explode!

No we cannot.

They are div-III and therefore do not qualify.

Let's be realistic folks.

Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill (basically one city) is over 2 mill in population. So, you are dead wrong about the market. North Carolina and Duke will never, ever join the SEC. It is a question of history and pride. Plus they have multibillion dollar endowments so they do not need us in the least. NC State is just different.

1. We already have 100% coverage in Texas. We don't want another Texas team.

2. We want teams from populous states NOT already represented in the SEC.

3. NC State would get us mucho coverage in a populous state. Virginia Tech would do the same for Virginia and the DC market.

4. Forget Oklahoma. State is too small and their legislature demands both Ok State and OU remain in the same conference. We would LOSE money in the SEC payout of we took those two schools.

No you don't. 16 = 4x4 pods that you can pair up each year to get your "divisions". & everybody is played at least once every 3 years.

SEC Championship Game
Year 1: A/B winner vrs. C/D winner
Year 2: A/C winner vrs. B/D winner
Year 3: A/D winner vrs. B/C winner

It was a scheduling nightmare in their plans:

Pod A
Pod B (rotate with Pod C yearly)
Pod C (rotate with Pod B yearly)
Pod D

Pods A&D were NEVER set to meet!
