He's a bigger version of Derrick Henry who already looked like a create a player back off Madden or some shite. The only person that stopped him last year were injuries and that will be the same case this year. I am really not looking forward to him running against us this year. I just don't see any team in the country who can stop him. Especially with the line they've got

What does this have to do with Ole Miss though?

I agree, but that's a great big if. He ran through everyone at the end of the season. Washington and Clemson had no answer for him

Bo had 2 100 yard games last year. He's got a lot to prove before he's mentioned with Henry. Just because he's huge and has dreads does not make him a comparable player right now.

Disagree - Bo will only get 13-16 carries a game except for specific games where he is asked to do more.

He won't have the yardage or TD totals to win that (or a Heisman type award). His YPC number will be insane though.

I'm generally not a big homer, but the only thing Bo has to prove is that he can stay healthy. His last 4 games last year, against 4 really good defenses, were incredible. 7.2 YPC, 6 TDs, dominating games in the 4th quarter (until the last game in which he was hurt). I think he's made it clear that he is an elite running back. The problem is staying on the field.

But, the health thing is a giant deal and I'm not sure he will ever get past it, which is why I hope we use him as a healthy 4th quarter battering ram this season.

He's going to be splitting carries with three other backs.

I feel like some people have completely forgotten Damien Harris was a 1,000 yard back in 2016.

His second double digit carry game didn't come until November. From that point on, LSU was the only team that held him under 5 ypc (4.7)

He's still yet to carry the ball 20 times in a game. From a perspective of talent with the ball in his hands, he's a lot like Henry.

And averaged 7.1 YPC. Along with another back who had 567 yards and averaged 6.7 YPC. And a QB who ran for 954 yards and 5.0 YPC. And one the 2 best true freshman RBs in America.

Yea, Bo will not get the carries for that type of stuff. And it will help us and him in the long run.

Too bad he has those paper doll ligaments.

Someone get that boy a glass of milk or something.

I don't know how you can say that. It's a lot harder to sustain that running throughout a game and a season when you're carrying the ball 25+ times a game. Can Bo even do that?

Possibly, but you have to remember, he shares the load with Joshua Jacobs, Damien Harris, and now Najee Harris.

Why Harris never gets any love on here is beyond me. He made tremendous strides from his freshman year, and eclipsed 1000 yards.

I'm not saying you guys don't have other good running backs. Jacobs and Harris are both legit and would start for just about any school in the conference. I saying Bo Scarbrough is an unstoppable force and if you guys have a 3 point lead with 5 minutes to go In the game he's the only one touching the ball.

I hope he never has to carry it 25+ times like Henry did, but he looked pretty fresh grinding Washington into purple powder in the 4th quarter when they and everyone in the Dome knew he was getting the football.

You're talking about durability. I am not, I'm talking about talent. Tangibles and ability.

Watch Henry take a handoff in the second quarter. Watch Scarbrough take a handoff in the second quarter. Same types of back from a talent standpoint.

Agree - which is why I hope he gets just enough carries the first 3 quarters to get in the game mentally and then comes out in the 4th with fresh legs ready to seal games.

But, that sort of role won't lend itself to winning awards and piling up stats.

Yea, I don't get it. He was a 5-star recruit, he has incredible stats, he played well in big games, he is fun to watch. I guess maybe he just got stuck in the post-Henry pre-Bo/Najee crevasse.

Of course Sark didn't give him any love either, so
