Let's for the sake of discussion that Harris is the starter at Ole Piss this year. Are they still the favorite in the West? Would Werner get more out of him than Cam? Would Ole Piss fans take Harris as a 3rd year starter over the non-compliant roster?

Let's go ahead and knock out the other 11 teams while we're at it. Let's make this fad efficient

Well, he'd be second string. So... yeah probably 8-4ish with Patterson starting.

He'd only be the 4th most talented QB on our roster, and he would NOT be the starter. Unlike y'all we have someone that can make a 15 yard down the field throw

It's actually an interesting question if you look past the hook. Now, it may only be interesting to me because I don't fully know Ole Miss' backfield, but I've got to imagine with coaching, and serviceable backs, they aren't just a "one trick pony" with Swag.
I'm not discrediting current excellent QB play, but the whole team's success doesn't hinge on one position.
The question becomes (as relative to the position), is B. Harris serviceable based on talent or coaching by Ole Miss vs LSU? And there's the hook - I'll just swim away.

Trying to judge the talent of LSU quarterbacks is impossible. They do not get a chance to display their talent. Les Miles development of the qb position is almost identical to Houston Nutt's. The qb problems over the years are the fault of the coach and not the qb.

Freeze's offense > Lester's offense

This is almost certainly totally true, I have never witnessed a single LSU practice but I've watched them play a hell of a lot of games under Miles. I also witnessed an awful lot of practices and games under Nutt.

Probably the problem isn't QB coaching per se but trust and repetition are the core problems. Combine that with the fact that he doesn't recruit pro style QBs and they don't really want to go there yields the QB problems they have.

Coaches that believe in the offensive philosophy that Miles and Nutt have just about can't produce a great QB in the current world. They see the QB as a facilitator of the offense not the key cog, that duty falls on the TB first and offensive line second. They ask a QB to never screw up but still be able to dig them out of 3rd and long. They spend a huge chunk of practice time perfecting the run game and disproportionately less time passing the ball.

We'd win our OOC games other than Florida State, and probably win Vandy. Games against Arky, Auburn, aTm, and State would be total toss ups. We beat LSU because, without a QB, they'd be forced to run the Wild Tiger with Fornette and Guice, and it's not the 2000s anymore, so that shite doesn't work. Florida State, Bama, and Georgia beat us handily because Harris is not good at football and probably gifts them some scores.

Probably like 5 to maybe 8 wins, but something tells me a Harris-led team would WAOM all over Georgia Southern. Werner would get fired for ever putting us in a position where Brandon Harris is our starter.

Liggins might actually get a chance to catch a pass.

That's funny because Liggins now plays O line.
