How bad would the melt be if no SEC team makes it into the first playoffs?

Also would the committee give the last spot to Moo State, UGA, or a possible 1 or 2-loss Big 10 champ? All considering the top 3 spots will be FSU, Oregon/ASU, and Baylor/TCU.

I don't think State gets in if you lose the championship game. non conference schedule is a joke and eastern division schedule is also a joke.

- Was the first team in 50 years to win in both Tuscaloosa and Baton Rouge.

Nevermind thumping you at home.

Maybe in a parallel universe. I hope state keeps this mindset going into saturday. I rooted for them all season and now they are cocky like they think they are Alabama or some shite. Its funny how winning gets to sorry teams' heads.

In that situation MSU would definitely still get in.

So 3 or 4 State people on the Rant = State Football team and staff's mindset. Got it.

Anymore thoughts of brilliance?

How much would the rest of the nation, including some fans in the SEC, hate the committee if Moo State loses the SECCG and still gets in over two conference champs? I think this alone would convince the committee to keep them out if they lose in the SECCG, especially if the stars align and it's among Moo State, two-loss SEC champ UGA, and two-loss Big 10 Champ Wisconsin.

Would the committee pick Moo State over UGA even though they just lost to them?

I love me some Alabama week.

Alabama logic:

MSU emptied Tiger Stadium = LSU was horrible that week. Never mind that LSU's three losses have come to the three best teams in the SEC. I propose that LSU isn't as bad as many want to think - they just aren't one of the three best.

MSU struggled with Arkansas. Never mind that Alabama very near lost their game with the same team.

Alabama blew out A&M. A&M is the best team in the world.

And of course: 120th ranked pass defense. We MSU fans never tire of that one.

The fact that your team gave up over 30 points to UAB is enough for me to just laugh at everything your fan base has to say. Talk is cheap. See you saturday

I believe it'd be how State would lose to UGA.

Say UGA defeats the bulldogs of the West in the final minute by a field goal and wins 23-20 I'd think MSU still gets in.

If some crazy score such as 31-10 UGA beats State then I'd think State would be left out.
