If Alabama hasnt played anyone why is there SOS #3???

I dont get it. Do I think Alabama should be ranked 4th...no. But really who deserves to be ranked in the top 5. I think LSU deserves it, but besides them I dont think anyone does. Clemson has beat one team with a pulse. Baylor hasnt beaten anyone. Tcu hasnt beaten anyone. Ohio state has played the softest schedule through 8 games that a team could possibly play.
So I dont get the whole Bama hasnt played anyone thread. Someone in the SEC has to take the losses since everyone in the west has to play eachother. But I just dont get this national logic when they go, Alabama hasnt played anyone.
Oh whats even more impressive is that theyve won twice on the road in tough environments. Who else nationally has two solid road wins.

tennessee could have been easily undefeated when they played in tuscaloosa two weeks ago. I think thats alabama's best win actually.
Oh and btw Tennessee SOS is number 1 in the country.

I think it's more that they haven't beaten anyone good rather than haven't played anyone good that people take issue with. Ole Miss is a quae team, problem is, they lost that game.

If not Bama then who?
Michigan State? Bama has 3rd SOS compared to 56th and a better win.
Notre Dame? Bama has played 6 teams .500 or better to ND's 4, and has a better win.
Baylor? Lol 110th SOS and no ranked wins.
TCU? 49th SOS, only 2 wins against .500 teams, neither are ranked.
Iowa? Just stop.
Florida is the only team with an argument to be at least right behind Bama. Sure they beat Ole Miss...but that was with a QB that shouldn't have been allowed to play.

That was a one point lead for the Hogs in the 4th. You blew the game open late, don't put your own spin on it

Florida should be in front of you if anything, they have a better loss, and yes...Mich State deserves to be above you. They have a better win and NO losses.

If there is any team who should be embarrassed to use the "shouldn't have been allowed to play" card, it is Alabama.

Bama never plays anyone, let some tell it.
Going into the season, Bama had one of the toughest schedules in college football. Bama was an underdog against UGA and stomped a mudhole in them & walked it dry.
UGA goes into the Bama game undefeated. Gets beat...season derails.
TAMU goes into the Bama game undefeated. Gets beat...season derails.

They don't have the QB that beat Ole Miss. They're lucky those games still even count. Since then Bama has looked stronger.
Michigan State again has had a significantly weaker schedule, and even then needed a catastrophic mistake to stay undefeated . Again, Bama has looked stronger.

But what I dont understand is the fact that fine you can say Alabama has not played anyone.
But how about Ohio State????? Why the hell do they get a pass. They have played shite teams and for half of them have looked unimpressive.

Stomp, your point is the point I have been trying to make...the way Alabama beat UGA and aTm and specifically how Bama rattled the confidence of each qb. The dismantling of those two teams made them fall apart...they can't be viewed in the same light now. Some teams recover from thrashings, they didn't. Bama shouldn't be penalized for destroying them.
