Overreaction. The line was shuffled with Williams going from RT to LT. And inserting a new RT in Womack. It's going to take a couple of games to have continuity there. Plus, that was a damn good front they faced.

Even the GOAT 2012 OL struggled to begin that season.

FSU has the best defense Bama will face this year. Their DL is a top 5 DL.

There isn't a defense in the SEC that scares me.

More like IF AUBURN doesn't get their OL straightened out it might be a long weekend

I like how everyone ranked every position group as the #1 before the season and after just 1 game most fanbases have folks melting.

How good FSU's defense is will be determined in a few more games, but I'm willing to bet LSUs is just as good if not better. Auburn's may be as good this season too.

Probably

The only thing is the team your playing has to open holes for the RBs and protect the passer too. Against your defense it'll be a long game for everyone you play as well

This thread is severely under rating LSUs defense.

We look elite on that side of the ball and have the best DC in the country.

You all know year in and year out Alabamas first game is when they play their worst. They will only get better for here. Should make for an awesome 3 way race for 1st in the West

Why does everyone think Florida State's defense is so good this year? They gave up over 30 points in 5 games last year, and one game over 60 points. What has changed this year to assume they are great?

You haven't played the best defense yet. LSU will be the best defense you play all year little boy.

By that token what's changed with LSU on offense?

Last year:

LSU:
Scoring Defense: 5th
TD’s allowed: 16

FSU:
Scoring Defense: 44th
TD’s allowed: 40

They brought back 40% more production on that side of that ball, which is why people think they’ll be good. But bringing back 80% of production that was average AF does equal a great defense.

Meanwhile, LSU was missing 3 of its best starters on our defense the other day (Key, Tolliver, Alexander), and several other big contributors, and pitched a shutout in which the opponent had -5 yards rushing and didn’t cross the 50. Not saying BYU is some elite offense, but even against average teams that is really fricking hard to do.
