If 11/19 was a neutral site, would that relieve some grief?

Just wondering. Split the gate. Give some $$ to the Baton Rouge chamber of commerce. Compromise.

a. given all the gamesmanship this week, i doubt UF gives up the home game for football reasons

b. i don't know where the money comes to compensate all the issues for both teams

If they're going to play the game later this season, why wouldn't it be in Gainesville?

We aren't giving up revenue. Period. If it happens on 11/19 Florida will be paying us.

It would come from the gate. UF would be penalized for not acting sooner.

Why is this necessary? The team is available to play this weekend. They were scheduled to. The hurricane is barely grazing the Florida coast right now.

Why is everyone OK with Florida blatantly CHEATING?

well this would still hurt both teams financially and nothing UF has done indicates they're willing to take a "punishment" for dragging their feet

Why is it just now that everyone is interested in discussing moving the game? We had a whole damn week to make this move.

Now all of a sudden, LSU has to drop everything when they were the only ones it appears making concessions for the game this week.

Foley is a lame duck AD. He could care less.

Unless the gate produces $5 million for LSU, they will get screwed. That's the estimate on the cost to LSU in lost revenue for rescheduling 11/19.

Florida and Foley rebuffed a half dozen options. Screw Foley and Sankey.

What is your point in that post? Yes Florida is getting hit by a hurricane. Something we knew since at least Tuesday.

I doubt Florida's idea of a solution is to give up two home games.

Florida will probably be able to collect on its insurance for revenue lost due to this, and you want LSU to pay for this while allowing UF to double dip?

Intellectual honesty, does this board have it?
