You and OP are trying way too hard. We get it, your angle is "LSU didn't get invited to the NIT" instead of LSU turned down an invite to the NIT.

Count me among the "not impressed" as far as Simmons goes. I can see the upside but he is soft and can't shoot the mid-range jumper. I'm sure he will develop but I just don't think he's the best player in the country....

The mid-range jumper is pretty much irrelevant from a statistical point of view. It's not worth shooting.
