There has to be someone who left, got back to the hotel room and realized that A&M won.

In 1999, I was at the Auburn-MSU football game. Auburn led 16-3 with 3:00 to go and we had just turned the ball over on downs. Luckily, we were still within the shadows of the stadium when we heard the reaction to the MSU touchdown. A nice gentlemen who had the game on radio informed us that State had just scored. We were able to make our way back in to see the win.

There were definitely a few that did but the majority that left yesterday were other fans.

Oh they do, and they did. It's just the nature of disappointment.

If you're making the trip all the way to OKC, you're a big enough fan of the bball team to stay for the end regardless of outcome to see the team off and sing the war hymn one last time. Caruso, House, Jones, and Collins will never don a maroon & white jersey again after this tournament.

Y'all do have a much better fan base than a lot of teams when it comes to leaving games early, but the Ole Miss game leads me to believe that people do leave early on occasion.

I dont think yall are getting it. You could see A&M fans heading for the exits on tv. This isnt a "I bet a bunch left early" thing. They left early. Period. Your fans left a game before it was over. I'm sorry if this busts some kind of tradition your team has or something but it happened.

My Dad wanted to leave the TN-Ark game in 1998 after we turned it over on downs. I don't know if it was just being young and dumb but I told him no dad we still have a shot!

Glad we stayed, my Uncle left and still won't forgive himself that he missed the stumble and fumble.

I'm pretty sure I said they did.

I was also there, I have a better idea of what left than you do.

TV is always a better view, just so you know.

Most of the people leaving early were OU fans that stuck around to watch the game. I'm sure some Ags probably left a little early, but there were still a large amount of Ags that stayed all the way through singing the war hymn after the game.

We were lower bowl on the other side of the court from the players' benches. With only about 2 mins left in the 2nd half, we accepted the loss and wanted to stay through the end to give appreciation to the team for a great season. The rest is history.

I'll admit I was one. My buddies and I had to drive back to Houston last night. We left when they made the 2 free throws to up 12 with 44 left.

Saw people running back to the arena. But, we just couldn't stay. From the time we left to the end of the game was an extra hour.

Watched the rest of the game via cbs sports app while driving. Pulled in my drive way at 4:32 am. Fortunately, I didn't have to be in the office as early as normal, but one guy is a CPA and had an 8 am appt and 5 others through the rest of the day.

I choose to believe that us leaving pulled the bad juju out of the building.

Fortunately for me, I was already traveling to Bakersfield tomorrow. So, am now just extending that trip through Friday.
