Even after the loss, I think they are still a Top 10 team. They have talent all over the field.

They lost last night because the other coaching staff simply out-coached them and made adjustments. When those adjustments were made, Ole Miss did not make their own, and it cost them the game.

The good news for Ole Miss is that there are probably only one or two teams left on their schedule capable of defensively doing what FSU was able to do in the second half.

I could easily see Ole Miss only losing one more. With a break or two, I could see them pulling an upset, beating Bama and running the table.

I actually came away impressed with the Rebel Black Bears, even in the loss.

Losing their main starting corner is going to hurt them for sure.

Their d-line looked good. Kelly can make any throw, but he almost always is looking for the big play.

Their secondary is susceptible again.

Ole Miss has a lot of work to do. To me, they look like the same type of team they were last year. Sort of like a three point shooting team in basketball. If the offense gets hot, all bets are off. Yet, the offense can go cold at any moment and they can't rely on the run to bail them out.

Defense looked okay when they had energy. The way the Ole Miss system is though, if the defense isn't rested, theyre toast.

That is true, but it will not get worse. They lost their starting corner in their first defensive series. I true freshman came in to replace him. Just by way of experience, he should get better throughout the season.

Their offensive line looked weak, but that was against perhaps the best defensive line they will see all year.

OMs defense run stopping looked really strong.

They gave up 160+ yards on the ground as a unit.

OL, Secondary and lack of a run game will come back to bite them again as it did last night.

They can put up some points in the air, that's for sure.

The OL and secondary are pretty bad though. Secondary was already young and thin and they lost their best cover corner on top of it.

Luckily for them, LSU can't throw a forward pass so I'm sure they'll beat us by 30.

Yes, try as you might but your DL isn't like last year.

They have talent, but FSU exposed some glaring weaknesses. They're not very good in pass protection, have no true running game, and are pretty thin in the secondary, made worse by an injury last night.

Their talent elsewhere can make up for some of those weaknesses, as evidenced by the 1st half last night. Once the DL took over, and Kelly got out of rhythm though, they were a mess on both sides of the ball.

They didn't let Cook crack 100 on 23 carries on a night when the defense was on the field for way too many snaps. I don't imagine Cook will have many games in double digits this year.

When the coaching staff cannot realize that time and time again when FSU goes right down the field and scores, the prevent from winning defense doesn't work, and they don't change it up, you realize that your coaches suck.

Ole Miss, your coaches suck.
