Fournette was hurt last year. Guice was better (outside of the Ole Miss game)

Adams was elite and we'll miss him but we have his freshman replacement in Delpit who can give us quality snaps like Adams did in 2014

Losing Tre White sucks but Toliver and Jackson are poised for huge years. Both played as freshmen just like White

Beckwith was damn solid but we have his replacement in White who is more athletic and violent than Beck.

So there ya go.

ETA: Our offensive line lost Pocic and Teuhema but Clapp and Brumfield will fill in easily. Dural and Chi were solid but we've got Chark, Gage, and Dillon ready to rock and flourish.

The DL will be better. LaCouture is back, Lawrence is emerging, and Gilmore is the best he's ever been. Glen Logan, Edwin Alexander, and Frank Herron are all outstanding backups as well.

Battle was playing a ton last year as well so we still have one safety.

I mean, that's what the practice and scrimmage reports hint at. I believe the word was "dreadful", and that's guys who get paid to write about LSU.

And somehow this "dreadful" QB won more games last year than any SEC QB not named Hurts.........I'll concede the Bama game, Bit he led a game winning drive against Aubarn that was overturned, even though the clock never stopped on first downs, did the same against UF, and the RB coach called the wrong gap. Beat everyone else rather easily. It's funny to see so many rival schools throw stones at the kid, when he's as good or better than you got.....

You're trying so hard to convince yourself of something that you know deep down isn't true.
He isn't very good and probably the 6th best QB just in the West at the very best. I would rather have Hurts, Stidham, Fitzgerald, Patterson and A.Allen over him anyday.

too many new parts and schemes. I feel LSU fans will be in for a looong season.

It could be bad.

I mean, not "lose to TAMU" bad. . .but bad. I can't imagine how much we would have to regress to drop one to the aggies.

It sounds to me like you stayed out in the sun too long.

If our offense plays at least as good as Pittsburg's offense played last season and it should since we have better talent, and Aranda's defense is any good at all, we are going to kick arse.

It was also Canada's first season at Pittsburg. I don't see why Canada can't duplicate what he did last season at LSU. Not to mention, that LSU has considerably better talent as well.

In fact, the least Pittsburg scored last season was 28 points in the first game of the season. How many teams are going to score 28 on Dave Aranda's defense, which as he says will be his real defense this season?

No, not at all. Not according to Dave Aranda. This season we will see his real defense.

9 wins

I think what's more disturbing for LSU is elite Head coaches usually get that year 2 recruiting bump, but I think LSU is going to finish in the 12-15 range this year potentially.

Stop being a pussy dude. LSU will be fine. We have too much talent all over the field. You saw how they did with a new offense last year with only 1 week to prepare...they set records. Chill out. Our defense is stacked as frick too.

First off...Bama lost just as much if not more than LSU did.

Secondly,Auburn is not good,Florida has just as much of a QB issue as we do and they have 0 Defense.

OLE Miss well..we all know they are going to be bad. TAMU is well 2 losses from a dumpster fire

Miss St..its the Bulldogs and LSU always beats them no matter how good they might be.

RKANSAS ...is always tough but we should be fine.

Looks like undefeated again till Bama and see what happens after that

Wll they usually do over estimate their final results.

Besides 2011 I think LSU has finished worse in the polls than the beginning of the season going back through 2008

I'm not expecting a NC but LSU still has more talent than 10/14 of the SEC. If they struggle no reason to think The O era will ever be any good.

Yeah this makes sense. How did Saint Nick do his first year?

I don't know if Coach O is the answer, but I hope he is. He's such a colorful guy, and folks like that add to the charisma of the SEC.

Do you want to see the actual stats where LSU is constantly overvalued by fans and the media? Sorry for reality...

Why any different? Not like the offense carried this team, anything is an upgrade.
