too many new parts and schemes. I feel LSU fans will be in for a looong season.

It could be bad.

I mean, not "lose to TAMU" bad. . .but bad. I can't imagine how much we would have to regress to drop one to the aggies.

It's funny how Tiger fans can be so far off. Now that Miles is finally gone people all of a sudden think the season is tanked. We had championship season after championship season under Miles. Hope after hope that things would change, now when we actually get that change. The Tigers are going to suck? Crazy people man.

Who knows. I think there are a lot of moving parts, and despite the ridiculous claims of some LSU posters, your QB situation isn't that good. Canada should make your offense less one dimensional. Just don't know how much growth will be there. Who knows. I think LSU finishes 9-3 and wins their bowl game.

We are replacing a lot of talent on both sides of the ball.

Avg QB at best, below average (SEC standards) OL and unknown WR. I don't think you're too far off with a rough transition type of season

They won't suck, but it's a new staff and we lost a lot. Just a transition year.

When's the last time LSU didn't need to replace a lot of talent on both sides of the ball? Elite players are replaced with elite players. Rinse and repeat

I really felt like LSU was a 10-3/11-2 team with Teuhama, but our OL depth is decimated, and the season hasn't even started yet. Now I'm leaning towards 8-5/9-4 with our current OL situation.

Maybe we could be 2005 Alabama with a badass defense and great special teams leading the way. After Alabama, Auburn, and UGA I think there's a pretty huge dropoff for the rest of the league. LSU doesn't play UGA and gets Auburn at home.

it's a shame, because I feel like yaw needs to make a splash for recruiting purposes and running off skeptics. 10-3 is possible but unlikely

I'm not expecting a NC but LSU still has more talent than 10/14 of the SEC. If they struggle no reason to think The O era will ever be any good.

And there's a lot of experienced talent now getting to start. Not sure you understand how CFB works. This happens every single season.

I don't think it's going to be a bad year for LSU, i just don't expect a really, really great year. I expect 2-4 losses with Miss State, Florida, Auburn and Bama being the toughest games, imho. Coach Orgeron lost twice both years in 8 game seasons at USC and LSU, respectively. So in reality, 9-3 is a solid year for Coach O.

Y'all returned 18 starters last year, so LSU didn't have to replace a lot of talent in '16.

IMO, LSU may start off a little slow with the new schemes and getting folks adjusted, but by the end of the season they'll be clicking and make a good bowl game

Baltimore won a Super Bowl without a qb and so did Tampa Bay. LSU has a great defense and will win a lot of games.
