I've seen some TERRIBLE refereeing in this tournament. So bad that it made me actually question if these games are fixed... and I'm not one to ever really question that
I saw the refs completely give Arizona the win over St. Mary's on a call in the final minute that wasn't even a question. There was no foul, nor any contact, nor anything that even looked like contact, but they called the foul and eliminated a key possession. Not a single person in that arena thought it was a foul

A part of me feels like having the calls go the other way helped this team. They play on a different level when their backs are against the wall. Their road record doesn't dispute that.

Oh, the refs have completely fricked up CBB. I noticed that 5 years ago.
I think the refusal to call things like traveling and carrying has led to the refs just randomly calling fouls, etc.
Do they even tick down like they used to when the ball handler was beyond half court, or holding the ball in the backcourt?
