In 2012, A&M's season opener in Shreveport against Louisiana Tech was postponed for a storm which barely affected the area.

The result was that A&M went 12 straight weeks without a bye.

It was Louisiana Tech. You're complaining about Louisiana Tech.

A&M willing to help us solve this issue. Back up the A&M v LSU game to Saturday and I think LSU will be more willing to play ball with Florida.

And LSU moved its opener to the bye week. Played a home game in Tempe and moved a game back to Monday. 12 straight weeks and still made it to Atlanta.

We didn't postpone it. Alabama refused to play that weekend, so we agreed to move the date.

If I remember correctly that LA Tech team was 10-2 or 9-3 and declined a bowl waiting for a bigger one and didn't get another invite.

Another post comparing Florida to a mid major. Sounds about right.

Given how the game progressed, we can kinda see why.

LSU did that in 2005 and still made Atlanta.

In fairness, I'm sure A&M fans would really like to beat a Louisiana school for once.
