Defenses are playing with their hands tied behind their back. If a DB sneezes on a WR while the ball is in the air - FLAG! A DE bumps into a QB a second after the throw - FLAG! A defender can't help but run into a running back a split second after the running back steps out of bounds - FLAG!
Every game is the same. No huddle spread offenses with a dual threat QB up against defenses with inferior talent with their hands tied behind their back. There's nothing creative about it. There's very little legal physicality and the QB play is shite - QB looks to the sideline, gets the call, takes the snap, and goes through the pre-determined motions that every once in a while requires a QB to do some second level thinking.
The defenses can't tackle.
The booth takes 5 minutes to review a play about every 20 plays.
Whenever a defender does happen to make a play and doesn't get flagged for it, the defender pounds his chest and draws attention to himself like he just made the greatest defensive play of all time.

Would you like some cheese to go with that whine?

I've watched a lot of games last week where they let them play. So it wasn't bad at all really.

You sound like Bret. Acting like a pussy talking about rules and wanting change instead of playing.

Even with the rule changes, I still enjoy watching football. They can't take that from me..... THEY CANT TAKE THAT FROM ME!

Arky fans love to take to the rant for their bitching.

It's really no harder to tackle a player in today's game than it was a decade ago. There are simple rules to follow, the student athletes are just a lot dumber and the best players don't play defense anymore because offensive players in the NFL make more money.
but all in all the fundamentals are just the same

Wanting officials to allow defenses to play more physical is being a pussy?

Not sure why you got so many down votes. Flags are thrown for bullshite a good bit nowadays.
I'm glad Alabama is so disciplined and doesn't get many holding calls.

Yep. The stupidity of the average player is also hurting the game.

No hard feelings, of course.
