The folly of aggy in the SEC? You bitches are lapping it up while taking it in the poop chute.

Rivalry application declined. Signed LSU.

Once A&M starts playing Texas again LSU vs A&M will be a complete after thought to them too.

Ok? We border with UT, Mississippi State, Alabama, Auburn, Texas Tech, TCU, Troy, etc. etc. and I wouldn't particularly call any of those schools our "rivals" right now for a number of different reasons.

they have history

When exactly? Legitimate question. I've been an LSU fan my entire life and nothing notable has ever happened between us and them. In the last 30 years we're 6-0 against A&M. Or to put it in different terms, there are people who are about 50 years old who haven't seen A&M beat LSU since they were in college. Congrats if you're absolutely ancient, but LSU and A&M don't have recent enough history for that to be a factor
quote:

and most importantly they have a particular unique dislike for each other

Not really. I think the people who go to A&M are legitimately pretty weird and I think there were better choices to add to the SEC culturally but I couldn't care less about our games against their sports teams.

So basically you're a prime example as to why the people on this board are fricking retarded. LSU isn't in a particularly good place for rivalries considering we're the only major conference school in our state and I'd say that Florida, Arkansas, and Ole Miss are the closest thing we have to rivals- A&M isn't even in the same ballpark as them.

This is a lie. We've won 6 games in the past 30 years

Brush up on your math

Last 30 years = 1987-2016

A&M is 6-9 vs. LSU over that timespan.

Aside from football, LSU can't buy a win or series win against A&M.

Aside from your consistent deflection efforts, a&m is at best mediocre in the only sport that matters in the SEC.

This is why people think your fan base is a bunch of ****s. I was obviously ballparking it and exaggerating, but if you want me to be exact then we're 6-0 in the last 22 years. You tell me if that constitutes a rivalry. And A&M has won a whopping 11 out of 38 games against us since WWII ended. Big rivalry! Please take your shitty program and go be autistic somewhere else you fricking loser

With UT under Tom Herman likely to make a big upswing, I seriously think dark times are ahead for Aggy.

I mean, you will have UT dominating Texas recruiting, Houston, Baylor, TCU, etc, getting their share, and SEC Big Boys like LSU and Bama swooping in and siphoning off the rest of the cream.

What will be left for Aggy?

They will wind up a runt SEC West program like State and Ole Miss.

Some rivalry.

They are used to that position as they occupied it in the big 12 long before they showed up here.

It's gonna be more fun when we hire Frank Wilson as our next coach
Ole Miss will try to hire him first. He could put away their racist stigma for good, but he wouldn't win much.
