Mid week games are pretty vital for developing a 4th starting pitcher for tournaments/post season..

not really worried about the loss it has zero affect on the rest of the season although there was some things that were kind of troubling. Outfield play was a little sloppy but that can be ironed out. Russel Reynolds wasn't very good last night and he is usually reliable out of the pen but it was his first outing this year so no reason to panic about it just yet. The thing that worries majority of people the most is bullpen management.

I careless about that one game but concerning going into the Oregon series and conference play.

Somethin tells me we won't have to worry much about where we are seeded in the tourney.

Right now, State will be lucky to be in it. Pitching is horrible right now. Pilkington is supposed to be the ace but his pitch count was like 60 in 3 innings.

Again, this year is a rebuild after the mass exodus from last year. We lost some ballers. I was expecting a shite season.

LSU lost 4 midweek games last season and we still were a national seed.

Losing to Tulane 2x wasn't terrible since they were a high RPI team. LSU also went 23-12 in conference games (includes tourney), but LSU was a national seed because the field for national seeds was weak last year.
