Kelly was always projected as a mid-late rounder who was going to have a chance to improve his stock with pre-draft workouts and showcase games. With his unfortunate knee injury, any draft grade he gets is just wild speculation

The only bought player in those games was Will Redmond.

There's Zapata, one of the last True Believers.

You still think Bjork is doing a bang-up job, and that the rest of the SEC is just mad about the beatings Freeze put on errrybody?

I believe only what I see. I have proof Redmond was paid. I've tried to find proof anyone else in those games was but I can't. Maybe you can help? Send me a link.

He should have left Ole Miss after last year.

I don't give a frick about that.

They're the same quarterback.

How the hell do you figure this? Shaw is much more fast/quick than Kelly and Kelly has much more arm strength. They are more opposite than they are alike especially when you consider the actual person.

Sorant, you will recall that the kimdeechee brothers didn't play against Dak. Tunsil only played a few games because of the loaner car. He was working himself back into shape. And we all know Quon is woefully slow. What else you got?

So we agree on the definition of "pay for play"?"

Think Tyler Bray with this cat, he may shatter Flutie's records with Edmonton. I wish Kelly well up north.

Great talent, but if I was a GM I wouldn't be caught a state within that kid.

He might want to do the rap career.

He is not Tom Brady

Meh, he did really well at Ole Miss and seemed to behave himself. There is definitely a spot somewhere for him and he should get his chance. Obviously with the previous personal problems there would be some concern but the real problem will be his busted knee and the fact that they won't be able to see anything in person. If you have a mid to late round pic why not take him.

Does Kelly have really bad posture or does he just not have a neck. I always thought he looked super awkward even when making amazing plays. Are his shoulder pads just too big?

Perhaps it's because he made our defense his bitch for two straight years, but I think that Kelly will make some noise in the NFL.

The kid has an outstanding arm. Both strength and accuracy. Honestly, he has a good head for the game too. To me, other than character concerns, his biggest weakness is that he tries to do too much sometimes. And he needs to run less or at least sacrifice his body less at the next level.

Though not near as bad, I saw a lot of Good Bo & Bad Bo in his games. When he was on, he was unstoppable. When off, he was throwing a lot in the dirt & over the heads of his reallly good receivers. The head thing is a whole different issue.

Kelly was hurt this past year. His passes did not have the velocity he had in his junior year. Some say he had a back injury.

Hope he fully recovers; if so, he will have a NFL career.

I'm ok with Chad. I think he has the arm strength and football smarts to adapt to the next level under the right tool-age.....but lets not kid ourselves.

Freeze runs an offense so far from an NFL offense that it's hard to project. Lets break down a typical play OM play: 4 wide, with a back. RPO...if you don't hand it, check the end....if he crashes and the outside linebacker commits to the inside gap, hit the bubble...if the d end stays home and they man up on the strong, then look for the TE down the seam, unless there is a double move with the weak outside receiver, who only has to beat a corner..then chunk it.

Kelly, as did Wallace did very well in this offense. Wallace was just hired by last chance U as a qb coach after 60+ td's at Ole Miss. Can Kelly make the transition?

My prediction is he does get drafted in the 5th and never sees the field as a starter. Unpopular but honest prediction. Again, hope I'm wrong as I liked him and Wallace. Gutsy players....who both beat our arse, for the most part.
