I just re watched the 2009 Bama LSU game.

I didn't notice this until now, but the refs made the right call on the Peterson INT. Not only was he out of bounds, but Peterson had already left the field of play and forced Julio out of bounds as well.
I laugh at L5U fans who still think the refs missed that call. It's cute.

It's just their coping mechanism. LSU's offense had gotten skull dragged all night up to that point, but they've convinced themselves that the "blown call" cost them the game.

It was clearly the wrong call, but even if they would've gotten it right LSU most likely wouldn't have scored anyway.

That's my opinion, too. Even if we had gotten the ball, we wouldn't have scored. That said, it was clearly the wrong call, at least in my view.
